Hi Marcel - Your participation in this forum as always is greatly appreciated and I thank you for that. We in the martial arts community do have a responsibility to, for lack of a better word, “police” ourselves to insure that any behavior that harms others must not be tolerated. As you know, the general perception of martial artists to the general public range from the eccentric to downright bizarre due to misinformation and lack of knowledge. 99.9% of instructors out there provide a great service to the communities they serve from participation in various charities to providing quality instruction and structure for children. But when you have that .1% of instructors who hurt people in various ways, all the good that was accomplished fall by the wayside. So please, when you see something positive or negative – speak out. We need more honest feedback in a public forum such as this to inform the public in an effort to educate those and to ultimately promote our art in a positive way.
