Yesterday Yamamatsu Dojo had Nine students compete in a tournament. Eight of them finished with medals, including four first places. We did not do as well in fighting, no one placed in fighting. I'm very proud of the students, they did a tremendous job hanging in there for eight hours, and they had a great time. I also had the pleasure of seeing Hanshi Moses Colon again. I have not seen him in ten years, he looks great! We judged the last ring together as we were the last ones working the tournament. I also saw a good friend that I have not seen in as many years, Elio Tarrago. He and his wife operate the Natural Motion Systems martial arts school in Miami. It was great spending time with him. My thanks goes out to Ari, Raj's student, he helps me with my class from time to time, and he came to the tournament to support the students.
