First I would to thank Hanshi Ferrara, Sensei Maccarrone, and my instructor Sensei Figgiani for alowing me to be a member of U.S. Shorn Ryu and to be able to take part in the Doshi Kai's. It is a privalige to be associated with all of the members and a pleasure to train with everyone. To all thank you. Second, I have a question. When was Fukugata San introduced and who were the first students to learn this kata from Sensei Ueshiro? Was it here in the United States or in Okinawa?
