I attended the recent doshi kai and had the pleasure of seeing many friends again and sharing a great workout. Hanshi Ferrara started the class with a brief history on technique and training. Sensei Figgiani started the class with Fukyugata Sandan. The class worked out well with repetitions of the kata by segments followed by the whole kata. I gave a brief class on punching technique which was followed by Sensei Figgiani working on two man flow drills which were very nice. This was followed by Sensei Blanchard teaching a very interesting Jo kata. The class flowed well and was very informative. I would like to thank Hanshi Ferrara, Sensei Figgiani, Sensei Blanchard and Sensei Franco as well as all of the participants who took time out to train with us and to share in my recent promotion. I like also to thank Sensei Figgiani's staff who always make us feel welcomed when we come out to train at their dojo. I look forward to the next time that we can get together to train. Till then be well and train hard.
